Services

Hotel management and development services

With more than two decades operating hotels in the Dominican Republic, GNH is trusted by international brands and private owners alike as a management partner. We run properties under world-class brand standards, and we operate independent hotels with the same discipline.

Our philosophy is hospitality first and our measure is performance. We build teams that guests come back for, and we run the operation with the financial rigour owners expect. In our experience those two things reinforce each other rather than compete.

We offer two distinct services. Hotel management, where we take over the operation of an existing or newly built hotel, and hotel development advisory, where we work with owners long before there is a hotel to run. Owners engage us for either one, or for both.

Why owners trust us

Why owners hand us their assets, and keep them with us.

Two decades in Latin America

Twenty years operating hotels across Latin America and the Caribbean. We know these markets from the inside rather than from a distance, and it shows up in the numbers.

Revenue maximised on every line

Rooms, food and beverage, banquets and events are each run as their own business, with their own targets, their own pricing strategy and their own accountability.

Strategic planning and owner advisory

We are not only an operator. Owners use us for long-range planning: positioning and brand strategy, capital planning and renovation timing, budgets and multi-year projections, and the case for when to invest and when to hold.

Owner returns and guest experience, aligned

Excellent service is what sustains rate and occupancy over time. We treat the two as a single objective rather than a trade-off.

Best practice at both levels

Institutional standards applied inside the hotel and reinforced at corporate level, from brand audits and training to monthly reporting.

Present on the ground

Decisions are made close to the asset by people who are in the building, not relayed from a head office in another country.

Feasibility and Financial Modelling

Operating models and projections that show how the hotel will actually perform, used to test the concept and support financing.

Architectural and Operational Planning

Plans reviewed from an operator's point of view, so circulation, service areas and back of house work for the way the hotel will be run.

FF&E and OS&E Procurement

Specifying and sourcing furniture, fixtures, equipment and operating supplies on budget, on programme and to brand standard.

Support Through Construction

Staying involved as the building goes up, so operational decisions are made at the right moment instead of retrofitted at the end.

Pre-Opening

Recruitment and training, systems and supplier set-up, brand approvals and the opening campaign, so the hotel trades properly from day one.
